Quackette 🐥🎀

Created on a 4x4 acrylic-primed canvas, this adorable duck is sure to bring joy to every space. She is cute, she is serving face, and she has a little bow... I mean... what more could you want?

My Inspiration 🌷:

My art has always been very girly, very pastel and bright. My physical appearance is the COMPLETE opposite. I feel I have always been enchanted by colorful things and drawn to anything adorable, despite only ever wearing black. Quackette is the perfect representation of what I would look like if I were to choose a different route to express myself. I think we can all relate to Quackette, we all ARE Quackette on the inside (at least I am 🎀). 

🎨 My Process:

• Started off by sketching out the layout with a pink pencil
• Colored in the sketched out areas with a cool grey alcohol marker (my base color)
• Laid down yellow and orange tones (alcohol markers) to her beak 
• Added purple shading to complement her color palette 
• Used Micron 01 pen for eyes and eyelashes
• Used a light pink alcohol marker for her cheeks and bow
• Added highlights with the Sakura Jelly White Gel Pen
• Added some sparkles.. and here she is! ✨
